Strong-arm robbery–Nov. 15, 10:05 a.m. Michelangelo Drive. While a woman was walking in the area, an unknown person approached her and forcibly removed a gold chain from her neck. The person fled on foot.

Vehicle accident/DUI–Nov. 14, 10:52 p.m. Joshua Way. Sunnyvale DPS units responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a house. On arrival officers arrested the driver for driving under the influence. Fire personnel responded to the scene to check the stability of the house. There were no injuries in the crash.

Weapons discharge–Nov. 14, 3:30 a.m. E. El Camino Real. An unknown person fired a weapon at a business and shattered a window. Employees working inside the business were not injured.

Commercial burglary–Nov. 13, 5:18 a.m. Santa Ana Court. The front glass doors of a commercial business were broken on the 200 block of Santa Ana Court.

Petty theft–Nov. 12, 11:26 a.m. Kern Avenue. A rear license plate was stolen from a 2006 GMC truck.

Vandalism–Nov. 12, 8:59 a.m. Cheyenne Drive. White spray paint was found on the blacktop at Nimitz Elementary School.

Found property–Nov. 11, 4:04 p.m. A Foothill College student identification card was found on the lawn at The King’s Academy.

Vandalism–Nov. 11, 6:48 a.m. Cheyenne Drive. An unknown person broke the lower window to the southern door of the east entrance of the Nimitz Elementary School library. A used, small firework was found 5 feet east of the door, and a burned sweatshirt was found in front of room 6.

Petty theft–Nov. 10, 9:51 a.m. Cortez Drive. An unknown person stole an unsecured bicycle and left behind a bicycle from Google.

Vandalism–Nov. 9, 6:06 a.m. The Dalles Avenue. A window was broken on the main park building at Serra Park.

Found property–Nov. 8, 1:25 p.m. N. Mathilda Avenue. An iPad was found on the Highway 101 Mathilda Avenue off-ramp.

Simple assault–Nov. 5, 1:11 a.m. S. Mary Avenue. A man posted an ad on Craigslist for massage services. An unknown woman responded to the ad and traveled to meet him at his home. The man voluntarily provided $300 in cash for driving to his home. Shortly after, the woman began to walk of the house to leave. The man tried to prevent her from leaving by blocking the front door with his body, which caused the woman to punch him in the face and use an electrical device to zap him in the head. The woman fled.
