Residents and visitors to Sunnyvale are reminded that fireworks of all kinds are prohibited in Sunnyvale. Recognizing the inherent dangers of fireworks, Sunnyvale joined ranks with the majority of cities in the region by outlawing fireworks many years ago.

The City would like you and your neighbors to have a fun and safe summer by leaving the fireworks to the professionals, who are trained to handle explosives with proper care. Remember, possessing, using, manufacturing, selling, and handling fireworks and explosives of any kind are strictly prohibited in the City of Sunnyvale.
