PLEASANTON (BCN)

Pleasanton police arrested a 32-year-old woman on allegations that she stabbed her boyfriend following an argument early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 3000 block of Yuma Way at 1:11 a.m. Thursday, said Pleasanton Detective Brandon Stocking.

Stocking said the victim was transported to the hospital with four stab wounds to his leg, which were not considered life threatening, and he was released from the hospital a short time later.

Officers said the suspect, Kimberley Causey, of Pleasanton, had left the residence when officers arrived, but returned several hours later.

Officers arrested Causey at 4:43 a.m. on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery, Stocking said.
