PAL coaches
The Junior Giants baseball program in Sunnyvale is in need of coaches for the upcoming season that begins on June 20. No coaching experience is needed, just a desire to help local children learn the game and have fun. Coaches would need to attend a couple preseason meetings, weekly practice and Saturday games lasting 90 minutes. Visit sunnyvalepal.com.
Fremont camp
The 34th annual Fremont Basketball Camp returns to the Fremont High gym this summer with high school coaches Jason Townsend of Fremont and Craig Ellegood of Cupertino serving as camp directors.
The camp emphasizes fun and fundamentals for boys and girls ages 5-14. Full day camp dates are June 15-19, June 22-26 and July 20-24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., $230; and half-day camp dates are July 6-10 and July 13-17, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., $155.

Bound Camp
The 25th annual Basketball Bound Basketball Camp returns to Lynbrook High School on July 6-10 and 13-17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. Giant Race
The fourth annual Giant Race, hosted by the San Jose Giants, is set for June 6 with the finish line set up on the field at San Jose Municipal Stadium.
